Woman in Peace Education and Awareness Initiative (WOPEDAI) was formerly National Women Peace Group (NAWOPEG). It is a non-governmental organization (NGO) and its aim is to resolve conflict within the environment and protect the rights of Nigerian citizens, especially the vulnerable groups in security (women and children). Since kerosene and oil cost too much and the government has banned the felling of trees so the solar cooker is the only thing that can save the situation.
