Wedge solar cooker - Martin Nix

Each November you see them in every yard, political campaign signs. Then after the election, well...into the trash they go. Here is an idea, that will help lower your utility bill each summer...convert these campaign signs into well...solar cookers.

Solar cookers are neat. They can be expensive, or inexpensive if you use recycled materials. You can make them out of cardboard, and glue potato chip bags on the inside (aluminum mylar). Why potato chip bags, well they reflect sunlight much better than aluminum foil.
