Vimini Solar Cooker woven parabolic shell

The Vimini Solar Cooker has been brought to the country of Burundi, located in the interior of Africa, through the efforts the non-profit Italian group, il Telaio. Using local materials and artisan labor, they have been able to create this cooker. The parabolic shell is made with a woven basket technique, lined with aluminum foil, used in hydroponic agriculture projects. Total expense for the cooker is 18 euros.
