I have been a supporter of [http://solarcookers.org Solar Cookers International] for many years, and have experimented with solar cooking in my backyard in Northern California. In early 2006 I began helping [[Tom Sponheim]] with the [http://solarcooking.org Solar Cooking Archive] and in December 2006 I applied to [http://wikia.com Wikia] - our hosts - to create this wiki. I'm very excited about the potential of wiki technology to serve the worldwide solar cooking community through knowledge sharing and collaborative authoring of action plans.
