Universidad Nacional del Nordeste (UNNE) is an Argentine national university. It is located in the cities of Corrientes and Resistencia, capitals cities of the Provinces of Corrientes and Chaco respectively. Known as the university of the sun, it is the seventh-largest university in Argentina by student enrollment numbers.

- 2009:The Faculty of Engineering at UNNE manufactures solar cookers and water heaters to raise the living conditions of low-income populations. Thus, it also takes into account the protection of the environment and the use of renewable resources within a framework of sustainability.
