The Tripod Solar Hybrid Grill, A.K.A. The High Quality Solar Grill, was invented by Tim Norton of Florida, USA in 2006, and represents a new generation of design in parabolic solar cookers. The mirror is mounted on a stable tripod platform and is adjustable to provide a wide range of heating settings from warm to very hot. In poor weather or at night the lens can be removed and the grill operates using any conventional fuel.
