Miscellaneous templates
Template:HeadlineExt
This template is used to create the slightly larger links in the headlines of news stories in Template:TopNews.
Template:AmazonSmile
This template describes how to support the site by setting up an Amazon Smile account.
Template:Section
This template is used to simulate page sections inside of tabs, since tabber doesn't allow true sections using "==".
Template:Cat
Use this template to link to a category page without the need to do something like this: [[:Category:Whatever|Whatever]]. Instead use this syntax: {{Cat|Whatever}}
Template:InterwikiLinks
Use the InterwikiLinks template at the bottom of each page in the Spanish and French sites to point to the English site. And on those pages on the English site that are pointed to, use the template to point back to the other site(s).
Syntax on the Spanish site is the following:
{{InterwikiLinks|English title|French title}}
On the French site the syntax is this:
{{InterwikiLinks|English title|Spanish title}}
…and on the English site:
{{InterwikiLinks|French title|Spanish title}}
Replace the words “French title”, “English title”, and “Spanish title” with the actual titles.
You’ll see that this template adds visible links to the other site(s) and it also adds the interwiki links (e.g., [[fr:Cookit]]) to the page.
If only one language is available then you can leave out the last parameter or leave an empty bar section for the first parameter. For example, using the template on the English site:
{{InterwikiLinks|CooKit}} -- The page only exists on the French site.
{{InterwikiLinks||El Panel “Cocínalo”}} -- The page only exists on the Spanish site.
