  • June 19-21, 2013: (Nairobi) Kathleen Harrison of Project Harambee extends an invitation to concerned individuals to attend the Promoting Justice and Peace: University/Community Collaborative Initiatives conference to be held at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa - Lang'ata campus. Project Hamambee has been involved for a number of years promoting education, microeconomics, and health care in Kenya. Part of their program is focused on creating income to allow villagers to purchase solar cookers. Sister Florence Muia, a Solar Cookers International representative from Upendo Village will be one of the speakers. More information...
