The TecnoDesarrollos company was founded in 2010 by Oliver Gonzalez in Tlajomulco de Zuniga, Jalisco, Mexico. Their primary interest is developing products and methods for harnessing renewable energy, and finding ways to reduce the emissions of pollutants into the environment. The goal is to create sustainable lifestyle options for people to able to incorporate into their everyday lives. TecnoDesarrollos is a new company funded with private investment, as currently there is no support by the Mexican government for ecologically and environmentally focussed companies.

In Mexico, and around the world, there are many renewable energy opportunities. The company has introduced the TecnoDesarrollos Solar Stove, a parabolic solar cooker. An innovative mobile base allows for easy focusing of the reflector to optimize the sun's energy for cooking.
