  • Perhaps it would be advantageous to, either on the main Topics Needing Research page or on another page, form a list of more general needs (such as: being able to continue longer after sunset, using space more efficiently, going longer without needing to be turned, being more water-resistant, etc.) along with performance of current cookers.

Response to "longer cook times" problem

What if the cooker was loaded with rocks in the base? In normal cooking methods, rocks are often heated by fire and then used as heat sources themselves, re-radiating their stored energy after the fire has died. The same methodology could be applied for a solar oven. 20:51, September 22, 2009 (UTC)Samson
