Solar Cooking

Hello to all

I have a question about the nelpa solar which some user might be able to answer :

The cooking pot should be at the focus of the parabola, right? But then, the center of rotation of the reflector, to adjust it to the sun's altitude, should also be the focus of the parabola, or else the focus will move away from the pot, won't it?

It seems to me then that the nelpa is, by design, optimized for a small range of sun altitudes. Is that true and if so what is this range?

Would a compound curvature reflector be more efficient - more complicated to build - more difficult to adjust ?

Thanks

Jonathan
