Sustainable NE Seattle is part of the Sustainable Seattle, Washington, USA community. Members are neighbors who wish to transition the community toward resilience and sustainability. As part of their activities, they have sponsored solar cooker construction workshops, with an number of them planned for the spring and summer of 2011.

• The Solar Cookout Extravaganza potluck is planned for July 27, 2011.
• Monthly meetings are held the third Thursday of every month at the Wedgewood Presbyterian Church. Interested neighbors are encouraged to attend.
