The sunflower concentrator is a folding hexagonal reflective panel that is able to rotate on a vertical plane. It forms part of an inverted open pyramid with a fixed focus. The panel is joined to the wooden base by an axle system that allows it to follow the sun. Accessories needed: UV resistant polypropylene bags and a rack in which to place a black container. On a sunny day it is possible to reach temperatures of between 100 and 160º C.
Materials
Hexagonal wooden base with aluminium laminate surface. Two adjustable supports for the axle steel cable and washers to make the axle plastic or cardboard panel, covered in reflective material such as aluminium foil, in six trapezoid sections velcro to join the sections and form a panel.
