Solar Smelters International is a not for profit organization dedicated to bringing high temperature solar energy applications to those in poverty and in need, and to promote and educate the general public about Industrial Process Solar Heat and the safety of its use. Our purpose is to promote the use of concentrated sunlight for materials processing, such as smelting of rocks, glass and metals, and also in the processing of waste or chemicals via solar industrial process temperatures for making steam or water distillation.
