Solar Alternatives and Associated Programmes (SAAP) is a registered NGO (Reg. No. 499/2002-03) committed to environmental protection and empowerment of the downtrodden. It is a Non-Profit, Charitable Society. It is a venture undertaken by the Jesuits, and the Provincial of Patna Jesuit Society is the Ex-Officio President. The specialty of this organization is that by using Science and Technology it tries to serve humanity especially the underprivileged sections of the society by providing a pollution free and freely available source of energy. We train marginalized youth of the adjacent area in our vocational program producing environmental friendly items using solar thermal power.
