Side-Slit cooker diagram

Cuts are made on either edge of a flat sheet.

An interesting and very simple solar panel cooker variation is the Side-Slit Panel Cooker family of designs. These cookers are made by taking a single flat sheet, cutting a slit on each side and bowing the top up so that two sides of the slit overlap each other. These are then fastened to each other so that the cooker maintains its shape.
