Shash Broxson organized a small project called Solar On Haiti to provide two solar ovens and one solar water pasteurizer to a small village, Lory, near Cap Haitien, Haiti. Solar On Haiti is partnering with Haitian People's Support Project, run by Pierre and Terry Leroy. Pierre will teach the head of the elementary school in Lory how to use the solar ovens and solar water pasteurizer. The head of the school will teach the faculty, the teachers will teach the children and the children will teach their parents.

October 2011: Shash Broxson explains about the program, Saving the Planet, in the Saving the Planet Overview, which has involved empowering low-income residents of south Florida, USA with the use of a Sport Solar Oven in exchange for community service.
