Sathyavathi Muthu is very knowledgeable and involved in research and dissemination of solar cooking. She reports that 2,500 students from the Avinashilingam Institute in Coimbatore spend three hours per week in villages throughout Tamil Nadu testing solar cookers and demonstrating them to women's clubs and self-help groups.
