Reflective Open Box

The Reflective Open Box cooker was designed in the early 1990s by Roger Bernard of France. It makes use of the various panels of a cardboard box to reflect the light onto the pot (usually surrounded by a plastic bag or other glazing. The angle of the panels makes this design well-suited for low sun angles either at the beginning or end of the day, or at higher latitudes.
