The Pil Kaar ("Sun Lobby" in English) is a box-type cooker developed by Bernard S. Müller of [[Müller Solartechnik]], specifically to be used in Chad to benefit refugees from the Darfur region of Sudan.  The cooker is reported to have reached 170° C (338° F) in an environment with an ambient temperature of 25° C (77° F) with its external reflector, and 80° C (176° F, sufficient to pasteurize water) without.

The Pil Kaar ("Sun Lobby" in English) is a box-type cooker developed by Bernard S.
