Dr. Paul Krämer is a physician (occupational and general medicine, tropical public health) now retired, member of Solar Global e.V. (Jülich, Germany). He is co-author of the book "Solarkocher" (in German). Paul is interested in the balance of biomass production & consumption, and acceptance and affordability of solar cookers, especially the Papillon type.

The text of the book discusses the need for solar cooking, particularly in Africa, and explains some of the science behind solar cookers. Multiple methods of cooking are also discussed. The book contains over 100 color photos of solar-cooked foods and solar cookers being utilized. It was published in 2002 by Süd-West-Information in Müenster-Sarmsheim. The price is 16.80 Euro.
