She holds a Masters degree in Development Studies, a B.Comm Honors (Energy Studies) and a B.A Honors degree from the University of Johannesburg and is currently registered as a PhD student in the Institute for Technological Innovation, University of Pretoria. Marlett has been working in the energy field for more 15 years and has completed more than 60 energy and development related research projects.
