The Obia Solar CooKit Group sprang from the project started by 13-year-old Max Ozimek in Obia in 2008. Since that time a group of men and women (calling themselves the Obia Solar Cookit Group) has continued to use the cookers and is now working to train others in the village and surrounding areas.
