From Solar Cooking
Greetings from Cameroon and the Far North province. We are a local NGO fighting against desertification and working to popularize alternative energies in the Sahel zone of Cameroon.
At the present time, the North and Far Nothern provinces of Cameroon face serious desertification since 2/3 of the population in poor and use mostly firewood to cook.
One Peace Corps volunteer Kathryn Dickens brought a few solar cookers models and from our sensitisation campaign the population see the use and thus we would like to supply these to the them.
Help us fight against desertification which is causing the drying up of the lake chad basin the only water supply basin for the whole of the Far North Province.
