We are aware that the same cooking smoke that harms people so much also stops mosquitoes from entering a hut when wood-fire cooking is done there. We would think that sense solar cooking is never 100% replacement for traditional cooking, it may still be possible to produce enough smoke to keep the mosquitoes away by cooking some foods over a fire. It might also be the case that areas that are good for solar cooking are the drier areas with fewer mosquitos. We don't usually promote solar cooking in more humid areas.
