John Root is an energy services advisor, and has been conducting workshops on the construction of basic solar box cookers since 1990.

News and recent developmentsEdit

• April 2012: John reports that he has been teaching approximately 100 people each year to make solar ovens at his workshops. To date, he has taught over 1000 people.
