Jennifer Barker is the Executive Director of the Eastern Oregon Renewable Energies Nonprofit, author of The Morning Hill Solar Cookery Book, and the organizer of SolWest Fair. She has been cooking with the sun since 1992.

- May 2013: This summer’s SolWest Fair (July 26-28 in John Day, Oregon) will include a solar cookery class, demonstration, social event, and potluck. SolWest is a three-day, annual education-oriented regional event. Business vendors will reach an educated crowd interested in renewable energy and sustainable lifestyles.
