Prof. Diz teaches at IES Escolas Proval, a technical high school in Spain, where students and teachers have organized solar cooking workshops and have loaned solar cookers to other schools as well.

Recent news and developments

• January 2013: Local electrical engineer promotes solar cooking in Galicia - Javier Diz used the celebration of Magosto to demonstrate roasting chestnuts with a parabolic solar cooker. A creative chef, he also made filoas polbo to show the usefulness of solar cookers.
