Heinz-Joachim Muller (just Joachim or Jo) is the inventor of the Solar Steamer and Sun2Cook. He has an extensive background in water sterilization, having worked for more than 20 years in a leading role on the development of microfiltration and ultrafiltration membranes.

His company Sun2Steam offers retrofit kits that convert traditional evacuated tube solar water heaters into solar food steamers.

• February 2012: Joachim is currently working on the Sun2Water, a solar multi-effect water distillation system for the preparation of clean drinking water.
