The Girl Guides Association of Zimbabwe (Matabeleland Central Province) reported in 2008 that it has promoted the CooKit in Zimbabwe since 1998. They taught 84 in 2007 and distributed 80 subsidized cookers. Supported and continued a Rotary Project started with UNESCO and Solar Cookers International in 1996.
