The Girl Guides Association of South Africa serves over 30 girls and young women in South Africa many of whom are from rural and poverty stricken areas. Solar cooking is included as a life skill in our girl activity programmes. We have recently launched a “Save our Planet!” project which includes teaching more girls and young women about the value of solar energy as a mean of reducing our carbon footprint.
