We're going to change the name to The Solar Cooking Archive Wiki to emphasize the close relationship of the wiki to SCI and the established and respected Solar Cooking Archive.

Things to change or not to change:

• The URL will stay the same: solarcooking.wikia.com
• The Main Page will say "Welcome to the Solar Cooking Archive Wiki" at the top.
• The logo in the upper left corner will say "The Solar Cooking Archive Wiki". Let's put candidates below and vote on them (I'm not attached and open to suggestions):
  

Candidate 1 is pretty good. The logo is a bit squished. How about shrinking the font and the line spacing to make more room around the logo? And I'm not sure about the background color, but I realize (having worked with Marketing people :) that it's impossible to find colors everyone likes, and this one isn't bad. -Beth

Shouldn't "WIKI" in the logo be "Wiki" for consistency and to avoid confusion? It is an unfamiliar word and we don't want people to think it is an acronym. Lower case may help the squished problem a bit. Walter Siegmund 04:54, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
