A tv satellite dish covered in chrome decal scraps is boiling water. This a canning jar with an aluminum can inside of it. In the can are burrito squeezins. Notice the vigorous rolling boil. I used the same jar for stewing and then, canning a tomato. I did not include the aluminum can in the canning of the tomato. Instead, I painted the bottom of the canning jar with black high-temperature paint. I have broken a relish jar and a salsa jar this way. The temps are very high.
