Ribeye steaks and bacon wrapped chicken breasts on the Solar Fryer. The blue box in the background is my rather small solar oven. The oven is cooking about a cup of rice for the meal. The oven face is fairly close to pointing directly toward the sun. The Solar Fryer is oriented south so that the focal point is in the middle of the grill when the sun is at an azimuth of 180 degrees. The ribeye steaks and chicken breasts are cooking over the hottest area of the focal point. It is interesting to see the small blue solar oven in the background that is facing the sun and compare that to how far the focal area of the Solar Fryer is from being in the center of the grill. Part of the reflected light from the mirrors is slipping up the side of the grill.
