Image of HotPot, back boosted higher with silver-covered bubble insulation (a car windshield shade can work well, too). Photo taken on 1/23/08 at 47 degrees north latitude (northern Idaho), ambient temperatures in the 20s and a UV rating probably about 2. With the back boosted and a little extra light thrown at the whole thing using a piece of a light fixture shade, I was able to cook custard in a smaller black, lidded pot that fit inside the HotPot glass cover.
