A family restaurant in Chile may inspire the way restaurants cook their food in the future. And here's why.
At the Delicias del Sol in Villaseca town, all the food is cooked in solar ovens. This unique home-style restaurant has 10 solar ovens and serves up to 70 people a day. With these ovens, which can generate temperatures of up to 360 degrees Fahrenheit, the villagers can prepare all kinds of dishes, including vegetables, meats and even desserts. It can take several hours for a meal to cook, but that doesn't discourage customers from eating at the place.
