Esther Garvi works as a volunteer for the Eden Foundation in Niger, West Africa. She is a frequent user of her solar oven. She has a special preference for translating 'famine foods' to Western eyes. Apart from solar cooking and her work, she enjoys the Nigerian people and culture and adores riding barb mares in the Zinder bush.
