The Environmental and Rural Mediation Centre (ENVIRUMEDIC) is one of the most visible rights-based organizations in Nigeria. As a registered non-governmental and non-profit organization, it was established to improve the living conditions and status of the people, and to protect the environment of rural areas in a sustainable way.

The organization is focussed on the major issues affecting our society, and offers both conceptual and practical approaches to solutions. ENVIRUMEDIC partners with various governmental, non-governmental, and voluntary agencies.

They have been involved with teaching solar cooking techniques in Nigeria since 2009, and wish to expand this effort in the future.
