  • March 18-22, 2013: (Phnom Penh) The Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves is sponsoring the Clean Cooking Forum 2013, to be held in Cambodia next spring. As with the five Biennial Partnership for Clean Indoor Air Forums, this will be an excellent opportunity for the household energy community to come together and share what is working around the world, what is causing it to work, and what we can do more of, better, or differently. Billed as the world's leading and largest health conference, it is a crossroads for health care issues and social entrepreneurship. The deadline for oral presentations is January 20, 2016, but applications for information presentation sessions has a rolling deadline. Solar cooking is becoming increasingly recognized as part of the solution for respiratory diseases, aside from the environmental benefits. This is another venue where that voice can be heard.
