Blik op Afrika is a non-governmental organization based in Belgium, that provides health and welfare services in various location throughout the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Many of the 45 professional and motivated volunteers have extensive knowledge of the region. They identify problems, and work with partnering organizations to achieve solutions.

They began to introduce solar cooking to their programs in 2014. They chose to use a parabolic solar cooker made by the Belgian company Solar Cooking NV, called the SolarCooker Eco3. They were impressed with the results Sol Suffit was achieving with this cooker with their work in Senegal. Modifications may be necessary to better suit it to their equatorial location.
