Atul Sagade lives in Maharashtra, India in the city of Pandharpur. He is affiliated with the Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi. He first became involved in 2010 with teaching solar cooking, primarily with solar box cookers and parabolic solar cookers.
- March 2017: Demonstrated the thermal performance of solar cookers to the students and faculty members of the SKN college of Engineering, Korti- Pandharpur, Maharashtra, India. About 60 participants availed this opportunity.
- November 2016: Demonstrated the thermal performance of solar cookers to the 20 housewives
- February 2015: Atul reports that he has taught approximately 100 people to solar cook since beginning in 2010.
