Description
Edit
This parabolic solar cooker designed by Luis Sequel uses "do-it-yourself" building methods and recycled materials, such cardboard and a used tire. The interior parabolic ribwork and back of the cooker is constructed of cardboard. It is taped and varnished for strength and waterproofing. The interior reflective surface is strips of reflective film. The finished cooker has a tire as a base.
Presently this design is being used as a training tool for classes developed by Solaria Energias Renovables.
