Amigos do Mindelo, established in 1992, is an non-governmental organization committed to protection of the Vila do Conde environment. The Association's mission is to make the town of Mindelo and Vila do Conde, Portugal a national example in terms of sustainable development through the application of a participatory model, with a concerted and responsible use of resources.
