The Agricultural and Rural Development Association (ARA) is committed to achieving long-term development, not short -terms solutions in its quest of improving the living of the rural folks. We believe that the human resource activities in our projects have the greatest long-term impact. We respect the needs, values, traditions and mentality of the communities in which we work, while encouraging their capacity to advance their own development.

News and recent developments

• Fall 2006: SHE is in contact with the Agricultural and Rural Development Association. The ARA-Ghana has experimented with the HotPot and considers its quality and design to be very marketable. It is not planning a promotion program.
