Agnes Klingshirn, Ph.D., headed the Household Energy section of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and is a renowned expert in fuel efficient stoves and solar cookers, still frequently consulting. A recent major study was to evaluate solar cookers programs in China for GIZ. Dr. Klingshirn was honored by Foreign Policy Magazine as one of 100 top global thinkers of 2010.
